My name is Melissa Blokland, and I am a storyteller.​



I recently graduated from Sint Joost in Breda in the Netherlands (Holland). I finally acquired my bachelor degree in Illustration, animation and storytelling.

I have a passion for storytelling, whether it's with words or with images. I have been studying art for many years in which I was able to learn many different techniques. I primarily work with Adobe; however, I'm always looking to learn more, and improve my skills. I am never done learning, and I love that.

​

I would personally describe my art style as simple and flowing, it's easy

to understand yet fun and entertaining. A lot of my work is digital, but I also like to

create traditional art. 

 

My job is one of the most beautiful jobs available, it allows me to not only bring my dreams into reality, but also those of others.
